The One With Docked Feelings...

Yesterday was the second time Amanda and I sat on the dock together. Amid the oppressive heat, we watched a beautiful sunset slip into the horizon. The placid lake mirrored the vibrant colors of God's comfort. We conversed till the stars shone down and the crickets beckoned to the world. This week and weekend proved to be an important time in our lives. We looked at houses and rings together; we laughed with friends and family; but perhaps the most vivid image of all was us giving each other another piece of our hearts.

Thank you, Yahweh, for lighting up our lives with your love. Teach us to hum the humble quietness. Keep us close to you always. And bring us to a clear understanding of your compassionate truth...

Remember how you kicked him out of the garage because said liquid got on the floor after we were sweeping it? Come to find out it wasn't his Arizona Tea - it was indeed that seaweed-like substance that I found that was leaking the water. Oh well...mission accomplished - Anakin was scared out of the garage.
