Thank you for listening to me talk about mom last night, Lord Jesus. I rushed to see you at the dock. The skies faded quickly. As the placid waters hushed the surroundings around me, your silence filled me with peace. I felt you holding me so tightly as I cried. It's been eight years since she finished running the race for you. And last night before dinner, Howard and I remembered and celebrated the life she lived. Forever I will be grateful for the memories of her. Grant me the wisdom to show others the love you and mom have shown me throughout the years. Fill me now.
