The One With BTLOG (night one)...

That last couple of days have been long. The tearing down and setting up of all of our equipment is quite the laborious task. A good number of us guys are feeling weary from all this work, but a friend of mine recently reminded me that all of this work is not done in vain. Prayerfully, someone who comes to our shows will be touched in a manner that can only be explained through His divinity and power.

Last night's show did not go without some glitches and some mild drama. I guess nobody expected a perfect show, but the fact that we had insufficient time to run through a proper soundcheck was probably not the most helpful thing in the world. That added on to us being at an unfamilair venue compounded to our faux pas. Fortunately, God's grace and mercy covered our human errors with an overwhleming blanket of appreciation from the wonderful folks in the audience. There were many gracious people that came up to all of us after show to thank us for bringing this story that is beautifully and lyrically told. I can only hope that the reception at FCC will be as good as it was at Capital City. A couple of nights to recoup and then all of us will prepare for an all-day affair Saturday. I think give me another few hours to absorb everything and then I'll start getting pumped again. Through the countless hours of hard work we've put in this year, I can't be more overjoyed with the fellowship we've had this year with the bunch that is presenting this to people to hear and experience. Granted, it has been tasking for everyone, but for me it has been well worth it; and every time that last cymbal is crashed and notes are played, the room is filled with an ovation for God, not us. More to come...
